What is your Return and Exchange Policy?
All of our cartridges come with a full one-year warranty. In the event that you receive any defective product, we will exchange that product for a brand-new cartridge within one year (365 days) of your original date of purchase.
Should you request a refund in lieu of an exchange, you can send that product back to us for a refund within one year (365 days) of the original date of purchase. We do require that you contact us before returning any product so that we can issue a Return Merchandise Authorization Number.
Why do I need a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA) to return my order?
We require a Return Merchandise Authorization number to be included with all return packages. This number helps us properly identify return packages and eliminates unnecessary delays in issuing a refund back to you.

Please note: Packages received without a Return Merchandise Authorization Number will not be processed for a refund.
How do I return cartridges for a refund?

When issuing an RMA number, our customer service team will document any attempted troubleshooting, the reason for the return, and the number of items you are sending back to us. Once the return package is received at our facility, we will reference the RMA and issue the refund accordingly. * †
When should I expect to see my refund?
Refunds are typically issued within 3-5 days of receiving the returned package from the customer. * †
Please note: It may take an additional 3 business days for your bank to process the refund once it has been issued on our end.
How can I get an exchange?
In the event that you encounter problems with your ink or toner cartridge, simply contact our customer support at: 1-866-658-8125 and our knowledgeable staff will assist you issuing a replacement ink cartridge.
We may suggest some simple troubleshooting tips to see if we can resolve the issue. However, in the unlikely event we are unable to get you printing properly, we will send you a no-cost replacement unit. Your replacement unit may also include a prepaid shipping label, so you can return the defective product to us free of charge.
I placed the wrong order; can I exchange it for the correct ink?
We are happy to assist you in getting the appropriate cartridges for your printer! Simply call us to place a new order for the correct cartridges. You will be charged for the new order with the correct product and we will ship it out right away. We will issue you a Return Merchandise Authorization Number for the incorrect product. Upon receiving that return package with the incorrect product, we will issue a full refund for all items within warranty. *†
I didn’t get the products I ordered. How do I get my products?
All orders go through a two-part quality control system before shipping out to you. In the very rare case that you received an item different than what was ordered, or you did not receive your complete order as listed on your invoice, please contact us as soon as possible at 1-866-658-8125. We do need to be notified of any errors in your received shipment within 30 days of your original order date. Our customer support staff will be able to quickly determine if there was an error made in our warehouse. Once our customer support staff determines the error, we will immediately ship out the appropriate product to you. A prepaid shipping label will also be included with your new shipment, so you can return the wrong products to us at no cost to you.
My printer broke and I can’t use the cartridges. Can I return them?
Yes, if the order is within the one-year warranty period, any unopened cartridges may be returned to us for a refund or store credit. *
I changed my mind - can I return unopened cartridges?
You may return unopened cartridges for a refund or store credit within one year (365 days) of your purchase date. *†
What items are ineligible for return or exchange?
We are unable to refund any orders that are beyond their one-year warranty period.
We cannot issue a refund for any returned items that were not purchased from 1Ink.
All items purchased from 1Ink and within warranty, must contain at least 30% of ink/toner to qualify for a refund. Cartridges containing less than 30% of the initial ink/toner are considered empty and non-refundable. The amount of remaining ink/toner can be determined by reading the chip and circuitry on the cartridge which provides detailed information on the number of pages printed, as well as the density of the printed pages (text, photo, etc.)
Can I cancel my order?
If you need to cancel an order you just placed, please call our Customer Service Department as soon as possible at 1-866-658-8125. As long as the item has not yet departed from our facility, we will be able to cancel the order and issue a refund back to your original payment method. Please note that most orders ship out within 24 hours of the order being placed. We are unable to cancel any order has already been shipped to you and departed our facility.
Are the shipping charges refundable?
The $4.95 shipping fee is non-refundable. This applies to all orders, even those that initially qualify for free shipping.
Do you charge a restocking fee?
No, we do not charge any restocking fee.

*1Ink is not responsible if a customer ships a return package that is lost or ultimately not delivered to us. We cannot issue a refund for any products not delivered to our facility. We recommend that customers always purchase and retain a tracking number for any packages they send to us until their return is processed.
