Lexmark Ink Cartridges and Toner Cartridges

1ink.com sells compatible and remanufactured toner for Lexmark laser printers, plus ink for older Lexmark inkjet printers. That covers the MS and MX series, E, T and X series lasers, and Lexmark inkjets such as the Pro and S series. We don't sell Original Lexmark cartridges. Every cartridge comes with a 180-day warranty, and orders over $65 ship free within the contiguous U.S.

Our toner for current Lexmark MS and MX printers is compatible, meaning newly built by a third-party maker. Toner for older E, T and X series printers is mostly remanufactured, meaning used Original Lexmark cartridges that were cleaned and refilled. Each product title says which type it is.

How to find the right Lexmark toner

• Know your printer model? Choose your printer series below, or type the model (for example MS310dn, MX511de or E360dn) into the search bar.
• Have the old cartridge? Lexmark toner shows a short number, such as 501H, and a longer part number, such as 50F1H00. You can search for either one.
• Know the cartridge number? Use the Shop by Cartridge Number menu at the top of this page.

The letter after the Lexmark number tells you the yield. For example, 501 is standard, 501H is high yield, 501X is extra high yield and 501U is ultra high yield. Not every printer takes every size. The MS310dn takes 501 or 501H, but not 501X or 501U, so check the printer list on each product page.

Imaging units and drums

Many Lexmark laser printers have a separate drum or imaging unit, and it lasts much longer than a toner cartridge. On the MS and MX printers listed above, it's called an imaging unit. Lexmark's manuals say a "Replace imaging unit" message won't clear until you replace the imaging unit, so a new toner cartridge won't fix it.

For older E series printers, we carry the E250X22G drum unit for the E250, E350, E352 and E450, and the 12A8302 drum unit for the E230 to E342.

Ink for older Lexmark inkjet printers

In 2012, Lexmark announced it would stop making inkjet printers, and it now focuses on laser printers. We still carry ink for many Lexmark inkjet models:

Warranty and returns

• 180-day warranty on every cartridge.
• Defective cartridge: refund within 90 days of purchase. From day 91 to day 180, we'll replace it or give you store credit.
• Wrong or unneeded cartridge, unopened: exchange or refund within 30 days. Refunds are the purchase price minus the original shipping charge.
• No restocking fee.
• Return postage: you pay it, except when we shipped the wrong item or it arrived damaged. In that case we'll send a prepaid label and send the correct item or a full refund, including shipping.
• Request a return number (RMA) first. Packages sent without one can't be processed.

Frequently asked questions

Which toner does the Lexmark MS310dn use?

The MS310dn uses Lexmark 501 (standard yield) or 501H (high yield) toner. The part numbers are 50F1000 and 50F1H00. The 501X and 501U sizes fit larger models such as the MS410, MS510 and MS610, but not the MS310.

What do H, X and U mean on Lexmark toner?

They're yield sizes. No letter is standard yield, H is high yield, X is extra high yield and U is ultra high yield. Larger sizes print more pages per cartridge but don't fit every printer, so check the printer list on the product page.

My Lexmark says "Replace imaging unit." Will new toner fix it?

No. The imaging unit is a separate part from the toner cartridge on Lexmark MS and MX printers, and Lexmark's manuals say the message won't clear until the imaging unit is replaced. If you're not sure which part your printer is asking for, call us at (818) 534-2660, Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm Pacific.

Can I still buy ink for my Lexmark inkjet printer?

Yes. Lexmark announced in 2012 that it would stop making inkjet printers, but we still carry compatible 100XL and 150XL ink and remanufactured ink for many older Lexmark inkjets, including the 43XL and 44XL, 34 and 35, 32 and 33, and 16 and 26. Every cartridge has a 180-day warranty.

Will compatible toner work in my Lexmark printer?

Yes, as long as you choose the cartridge listed for your printer model. If the printer shows a supply error after you install it, take the cartridge out, put it back in and restart the printer. If that doesn't fix it, call us before you send anything back.

How fast do Lexmark orders ship?
