Admittedly, it's hard to distinguish these low-end printers when they are manufactured by a brand with a pretty reputable name.
But how cheap is too cheap? And what risks do you run by purchasing a cheap printer? We're here to break down the facts and give you some insider secrets about low-cost printers.
1. A Cheap Printer is Designed to Break

3. Watered Down Printing Functions
So you want all the functions of a mid-range printer, but you don't want to pay the price? This is the demographic that cheap printer brands thrive on. While they're not allowed to lie or boast features that their printer does not have, they have a way of getting around this.
