1ink.com sells remanufactured and compatible ink and toner cartridges for HP printers, including DeskJet, ENVY, OfficeJet, OfficeJet Pro, LaserJet and Color LaserJet. We don't sell Original HP cartridges. Every cartridge comes with a 180-day warranty, and orders over $65 ship free within the contiguous U.S.
Our HP ink cartridges are remanufactured: they start as used Original HP cartridges that are cleaned and refilled. Many of our HP LaserJet toner cartridges are compatible, which means newly built by a third-party maker. Each product title tells you which type it is.
How to find the right HP cartridge
- Know the cartridge number? Use the Shop by Cartridge Number menu at the top of this page, or type the number (for example 67XL, 952XL or 206X) into the search bar.
- Know the printer model? Choose your printer series below, then your model. You'll only see cartridges that fit that printer.
- Not sure of either? The cartridge number is printed on the label of the cartridge you're replacing. The printer model, such as OfficeJet Pro 9015e or LaserJet Pro M402dn, is on the front of the printer.
The letters after the number tell you the size. For HP ink, XL is high yield and XXL is extra high yield. Both fit the same printers as the standard cartridge but print more pages. For HP toner, A is standard yield and X is high yield. The page yield for each cartridge is listed on its product page.

Remanufactured vs. Original HP cartridges
- Original HP cartridges are made and sold by HP. They cost the most.
- Remanufactured cartridges are used Original HP cartridges that have been cleaned and refilled. They cost less than Original HP.
- Compatible cartridges are new cartridges made by a third party to fit HP printers.
Using a non-HP cartridge doesn't void your HP printer warranty. HP says, though, that it won't cover printer damage that's caused by a non-HP cartridge.
Many HP printers check each cartridge's chip. HP calls this dynamic security. HP says cartridges with a non-HP chip may stop working after a firmware update, while cartridges that reuse an original HP chip aren't affected. If your printer shows a "cartridge problem" or "non-HP chip" message, call us before you return anything. Our support team can walk you through the fixes.
HP+ and "e" printers: read this first
Some HP printers have a model number that ends in "e", such as the DeskJet 2755e or OfficeJet Pro 9015e. These printers can run HP+. If HP+ was turned on during setup, the printer only accepts Original HP cartridges, and remanufactured or compatible cartridges, including ours, won't work. HP says HP+ can't be turned off. Cancelling Instant Ink doesn't remove it either.
If you skipped HP+ when you set up your "e" printer, our cartridges can work the same way they do in other HP printers. Not sure? Read What Is HP+? before you order, or call us at (818) 534-2660.
Warranty and returns
- 180-day warranty on every cartridge.
- Defective cartridge: refund within 90 days of purchase. From day 91 to day 180, we'll replace it or give you store credit.
- Wrong or unneeded cartridge, unopened: exchange or refund within 30 days. Refunds are the purchase price minus the original shipping charge.

- Return postage: you pay it, except when we shipped the wrong item or it arrived damaged. In that case we'll send a prepaid label and send the correct item or a full refund, including shipping.
- Request a return number (RMA) first. Packages sent without one can't be processed.

Frequently asked questions
Will remanufactured ink work in my HP printer?
In most HP printers, yes, as long as you buy the cartridge number your printer uses. Remanufactured HP cartridges are used Original HP cartridges that have been cleaned and refilled. The main exception is an HP printer with HP+ turned on, which accepts only Original HP cartridges. Every 1ink.com cartridge has a 180-day warranty.
Does using non-HP ink void my HP printer warranty?
No. HP says using a non-HP cartridge doesn't void the HP limited warranty. HP won't cover printer damage that's caused by a non-HP cartridge.
Can I use 1ink.com cartridges in an HP "e" printer?
Only if HP+ was never turned on. Printers with HP+ turned on accept only Original HP ink for the life of the printer, and HP+ can't be turned off. If you skipped HP+ during setup, our cartridges can work.
My HP printer says "cartridge problem" or "non-HP chip." What should I do?
First remove the cartridge and put it back in, and accept the on-screen message if one appears. If it still won't print, call us at (818) 534-2660, Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm Pacific, before you send anything back. A defective cartridge is covered by our 180-day warranty.
What's the difference between HP 67 and HP 67XL?
They fit the same printers. The XL version holds more ink and prints more pages per cartridge. The 67XXL holds more again. Page yields are listed on each product page.
How fast do HP cartridge orders ship?
Orders placed before 12pm Pacific on a business day usually ship the same day. Shipping is free on orders over $65 within the contiguous U.S. and $5.95 below that.
